The Paris-Sorbonne “Estivales” is a series of conferences in English, open to all English listeners. It is available to a wideranging public (no academic level required) eager to improve their knowledge of French history and culture and make the most out of their stay in Paris.

Permanent residents, visitors and tourists wishing to know more about France are all welcome to lectures that are open and convivial, and provide lively illustrations of French culture.

One series of three lectures is scheduled. The first two lectures will deal with the main landmarks of French and Parisian history. The third is an introduction to the history of arts in France, with a particular focus on the analysis of the most outstanding masterpieces in Paris’ museums.
