Second in the series of oil painting for sale:  Genesis narrative of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, eating the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil is an indulgence in the pleasures of human sexuality considered immoral, promiscuous, and anathema to local and cultural norms – the result of which will likely be dire consequences.

Shame and disgrace follows eating of the Forbidden Fruit of the Jardin Borda (Borda Gardens). Eva gives birth to Mexican Emperor Maximilian’s child, after which she is shamed and disgraced out of town by the locals.  She ends up a prostitute in Mexico City, instead of the Empress of her ambitions.
