Little Joey grew up loving and playing with his GI Joe action doll. Image evokes his patriotism and encourages him to enlist and is sent of to the battlefield of Iraq and Afghanistan. He then bears witness to his fellow fallen soldiers and salutes the dead. With the backdrop of the 'hidden' dead soldiers on the wall, they are counted off in ticks of ‘fives’, the way children count in grade school. But then it became Joey’s turn. He falls on the battlefield to the enemy’s bullet and is then taken home in a casket draped in the American flag. Joey now figures into those being counted off on the wall. The cycle continues.
